Research and Marketing Intern 2019
I am currently helping to develop the USP marketing content for a start-up mortgage company. Just as in television productions, the 'hook' and essence needs to be anchored throughout.
This is bringing my course lessons from Innovation about business and brand development into the real world. I am learning to develop my marketing and brand skills, while keeping human centred design at the forefront, by using new techniques such as competition mapping as well as my business analytic skills developed from my Innovation course, developing my own Start-up Patos Productions and acting as an innovation consultant to TLT and the Environment Agency.
I am also seeing how ideas and theory, like the business plan I helped create for Roo Bannister Jewellery, comes to fruition, adapts and can aid the development of a business.
